The Golden Eagle men and women’s cross country team will look to their new runners to provide a positive impact on the performance of their team this season. With over half of the team being new to college cross country competition, the season looks promising according to head coach Scott Schochler.

Five John Brown University athletic programs were honored today (July 15) as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its 2013-14 Scholar-Team Awards, which included 1,290 programs across the country.

Senior Valarie Kliewer continued her strong running into the final meet of the season, pacing the Golden Eagles to a fifth place finish with 147 points at the Sooner Athletic Conference Championships this afternoon at Oklahoma Baptist's cross country course.
