Freshman Annie Brown led the Golden Eagles for the fifth time this season and junior Claire Greathouse posted a season-low as John Brown captured fifth place at the Sooner Athletic Conference meets this morning at the Gordon Cooper Technology Center in Shawnee, Okla.

For the fourth time this season, freshman Annie Brown paced the John Brown women’s cross country team, but this time she earned a season-best time of 19:26, helping the Golden Eagles capture third place at the University of Arkansas – Little Rock Invitational this morning at the Rebsamen Golf Course in Little Rock.

Five John Brown University athletic programs were honored today (July 15) as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its 2013-14 Scholar-Team Awards, which included 1,290 programs across the country.
