    Women's Soccer Squad Reflects on Brazilian Trip

    Sophomore defender Julie Whitlow can’t help but notice the lonely three-year-old boy sitting alone by himself. She asks the workers of the orphanage what could be so wrong to cause such a depression and he explains how the boy’s brother has just recently been adopted from the orphanage. After an hour of failed attempts to make the boy smile, Whitlow decides enough is enough and puts the boy on her shoulders, running around with him until at last a smile bursts from his lips and his laughter fills the room.

    TICKETS PUNCHED: Golden Eagles Earn Second Automatic Berth to Nationals in Program History

    Junior Casey O'Brien scored in the 19th minute and the second-seeded Golden Eagles (14-3-3) used three saves from sophomore goalkeeper Kristen Morency in a tie-breaking shootout to advance to the NAIA National Championships, 3-1 on penalty kicks, after tying top-seeded and No. 18 Oklahoma City (15-4-1), 1-1, tonight at Stars Field.
