    Women's Soccer Squad Reflects on Brazilian Trip

    Sophomore defender Julie Whitlow can’t help but notice the lonely three-year-old boy sitting alone by himself. She asks the workers of the orphanage what could be so wrong to cause such a depression and he explains how the boy’s brother has just recently been adopted from the orphanage. After an hour of failed attempts to make the boy smile, Whitlow decides enough is enough and puts the boy on her shoulders, running around with him until at last a smile bursts from his lips and his laughter fills the room.

    Early Strike Sends Concordia Past Golden Eagles, 2-0

    No. 4 Concordia (Calif.) used a quick tally in the opening minutes and controlled play throughout the match, scoring a goal in each half en route to a 2-0 score to defeat No. 22 John Brown (14-4-3) this afternoon in the NAIA National Championships Opening Round in La Mirada.
