    Men’s Soccer Season Ends with Loss in Semifinals

    For the first time this season, the Golden Eagles (9-7-2) suffered a defeat greater than one goal. Unfortunately, it came in the semifinals of the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament as the second-seeded and No. 25 Science & Arts (Okla.) rolled to a 4-0 score over sixth-seeded John Brown this afternoon at Drover Pitch.

    Gonzalez, Golden Eagles Win for Second Time at Wayland, Earn Berth to Semifinals

    For the second time in four weeks, senior midfielder Martin Gonzalez placed the Golden Eagles on his back at Wayland Baptist (Texas), this time netting the game-winner in the 85th minute, sending sixth-seeded John Brown to a 2-1 win over the third-seeded Pioneers tonight in the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament quarterfinals.

    Fog Interrupts Match, Golden Eagles Settle for 1-1 Draw with Rams

    Senior midfielder Martin Gonzalez finally got the Golden Eagles (7-6-2, 3-3-2 SAC) on the board in the 73rd minute, but due to access fog that covered Alumni Field in a thick haze, the match was called with 4:08 left to play in regulation as JBU settled for a 1-1 draw tonight against Texas Wesleyan.
