The Golden Eagle men's golf team closed its 2013-14 season with a seventh place finish at the Sooner Athletic Conference championships this afternoon, turning in a team score of 941 at the Tascosa Golf Club’s La Palmoma Course.

Against the toughest field in the NAIA, the Golden Eagles received a four-over 75 from Trevor Barton in the second round, allowing John Brown to finish seventh out of nine teams competing this week for the Sooner Athletic Conference championship on day one of the tournament.
