    Mired in an offensive funk coming out of a difficult two-point loss to Southwestern Christian (Okla.) on Thursday (Feb. 4), the offensive inconsistencies continued for the John Brown men’s basketball team (11-13, 4-8 SAC), and against the league’s top offense, Wayland Baptist (Texas), the Golden Eagles suffered a 97-65 setback on Saturday (Feb. 6) at the Hutcherson Center.

    Men’s Basketball Suffers Last-Second Loss to Southwestern Christian

    After battling back from an early second-half run to force two late ties, the John Brown men’s basketball team (11-12, 4-7 SAC) allowed Southwestern Christian (Okla.) to score with two seconds left, breaking a 59-all tie as the visitors held on for a 61-59 win inside Bill George Arena on Thursday (Feb. 4) evening.
