    Senior Griffin Brady produced a career night with 41 points and 15 rebounds, but the John Brown men’s basketball team (5-3) dropped its second straight as College of the Ozarks (Mo.) closed regulation on a 6-2 run and outscored John Brown 9-8 in overtime to grab an 88-87 overtime victory on Tuesday (Nov. 17) evening at the Keeter Gymnasium.

    Early Lead Evaporates Mid-Half, Men’s Basketball Clipped at Williams Baptist

    The John Brown men’s basketball team (5-1) started out by hitting 6-of-8 from the field to build an early 17-9 lead, but Williams Baptist (Ark.) responded with a 21-12 run and used 20 offensive rebounds to narrowly escape JBU by a 65-63 final on Saturday (Nov. 14) afternoon inside the Southerland-Mabee Gymnasium.

    The John Brown men’s basketball team (5-1) continued its hot shooting to open the 2015-16 season, but used a staunch second-half defensive effort, limiting Southwestern Adventist (Texas) to just 19 second-half points to secure a 96-58 victory on Thursday (Nov. 12) night inside Bill George Arena.
