    Pioneers Eliminate Golden Eagles for Second-Consecutive Season

    Third-seeded and No. 13 Wayland Baptist (Texas) broke open a tight game by scoring 11 unanswered points midway through the second half and eliminated sixth-seeded John Brown (16-15), 80-61, for the second-straight season this afternoon in the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament quarterfinals inside Abe Lemons Arena.
